About the Author

He is host of WCVE TVís gardening show Virginia Home Grown and is a gardening columnist with the Richmond Times-Dispatch. He also works as the Extension Agent Emeritus with Chesterfield County. LAURA PETERS is a certified master gardener with more than 16 years of experience as a retail gardening consultant. She also has researched and written nineteen gardening books. Her practical knowledge of contemporary plant varieties and gardening products covers almost every aspect of the horticulture industry.
