About the Author
Bruce Hucko is an independent photographer, author, educator, and children's art coach who lives in Moab, Utah. The primary theme in all of his work is the relationship among community, art, landscape, and people. Bruce taught art and photography on the Navajo Reservation and among the northern Pueblos, creating two national award-winning books of children's art. His photography appears in national publications and is widely collected. Working in both color and black-and-white, he produces fine art prints, assignment work, and special projects. Bruce is the primary photographer for KC Publications' Southwestern Indian Arts and Crafts Series. He also photographed Santa Fe Trail: Voyage of Discovery.
