About the Author
Roy A. Larson joined the faculty at North Carolina State University in 1961 and has been a full professor since 1969. He has researched florist azaleas since 1962, and has written and lectured extensively on this topic. He is past president of the American Society for Horticultural Science, was inducted into the Society of American Florists' Hall of Fame in 1989 and into the American Academy of Floriculture in 1992.
