About the Author
Lyn Kublick was transplanted from the gentle climate of Northern California to the invigorating atmosphere of the Canadian Prairies more than 30 years ago. Few of the techniques she had learned from her father worked in the extremes of the prairie climate. But she found many dedicated prairie gardeners eager to share their wisdom about crops that thrive in a short growing season, perennials that endure wild temperature fluctuations and annuals that could be started indoors.
After 30 years of experimenting with edibles, herbs in particular, Lyn Kublick shares her prairie-born wisdom with those who don't have three decades to refine their gardening skills. Lyn Kublick is a teacher and writes from her home in Minitonas, Manitoba.
