About the Author
Paula DeSimone is recognized for her accomplishments in the decorative-arts movement. She is director of the Decorative Painting Certificate Program at Rhode Island School of Design, Continuing Education, in Providence and also teaches courses in decorative arts at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Fuller Museum of Art, and the DeCordova Museum, all in Massachusetts.

Ms. DeSimone is author of The Decorative Painter's Color Shaper Book and is coauthor with Pat Stewart of Brush, Sponge, Stamp, both from Rockport Publishers. She is also featured in her own series of instructional videos, entitled The Decorative Painter, produced by Perspective Communications Group, Inc., of Rhode Island. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
