About the Author
Beverly Hall Lawrence has written about design and the decorative arts for much of her 15-year publishing career, most recently as the Home editor for Long Island's daily, Newsday.
She has also worked for the "Washington Post", the "Detroit Free Press" and the "Atlanta Journal and Constitution" as a financial news reporter. Lawrence is now creative director and chief operating officer of Hosanna, a small agency in New York providing creative writing and visual arts services.
She is also the author of the recently published non-fiction work, "Reviving the Spirit" (Grove Press), a memoir of a spiritual awakening. A graduate of Georgia State University and a native of Ashburn, Georgia, Lawrence lives in New York City with her husband, Calvin Lawrence Jr.
