About the Author
Jane Withers writes on design and architecture. She studied art history and design and was an associate editor for Elle Decoration UK. She has contributed to newspapers and magazines in Europe and the United States and currently writes for the Observer and Harper's Bazaar. Her most recent book is Hor Water-Bathing and the Contemporary Bathroom (Soma). she lives in London.
Christoph Kicherer is an architecture, interior and design photographer whose work has appeared in many magazines including Vogue Decoration, Casa Vogue, Architektur & Wohnen, Interni and Elle Decoration UK. He also documents the work of designers including John Pawson and Ron Arad. Commercial clients include Habitat. He lives in Tunis and Paris.
