Book Description
A home is always changing, moods change from one season to the next. A Home for all Seasons celebrates these changes. Welcome the outdoors into your home, as designer Kristin Perers introduces you to the five environmental factors that influence your well being: light, sound, aroma, color, and touch.

Perers believes that nature gives us the variety we crave, and in A Home for all Seasons she provides hundreds of ideas to reflect indoors the changing mood of nature outdoors, or to bring quick changes to your home. Small touches like a bowl of nuts by a chair in the winter, or temporary displays of personal mementos, can refresh the soul and recharge your energy. With photography by James Merrell in beautifully seasonal settings, A Home for all Seasons provides a year's worth of decorating ideas to enrich your life and home with the beauty of nature.

Inspirations explore what each of the four seasons can suggest: colors, textures, scents, and objects that define the time of year. Creations is packed with simple ideas and crafts that will inspire the most reluctant of decorators. Living Spaces shows how these ideas can transform a house into a living breathing home, room by room.

Make your home a place of personal expression by creating an environment that is alive with the natural beauty around you.
