About the Author
DR. DAVID STOOP is a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder and director of the Center for Family Therapy. He is the author of more than 20 books, including Forgiving Our Parents, Forgiving Ourselves and Forgiving the Unforgivable. With his wife, Jan, he is also the coauthor of a number of books, including When Couples Pray Together. As a team, they have led seminars and retreats across the United States, and in Europe, Asia, Australia and South Africa on topics such as marital relationships, parenting, men's issues, fathering and forgiveness. David and Jan Stoop reside in Newport Beach, California and have three sons and five grandchildren.
