About the Author
During more than thirty years as an author, speaker, and counselor, Gary Smalley has written fourteen books on family relationships with a combined total of nearly four million copies in print. He has earned several awards for his contribution to family life, including two Gold Medallions for excellence in literature. Gary and his wife, Norma, live in Branson, Missouri. John Trent is the president of Encouraging Words in Phoenix, Arizona. He is also a popular national speaker and author whose books include the bestseller Life Mapping. He holds a Ph.D. in marriage and family counseling and a master's degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.
