About the Author
Jackie Summers was tormented by years by an abusive husband. She finally gathered up the strength and the courage to make a better life for herself and her children. It was an extremely hard and drawn out process, but she made it. She wrote this book to help other women that are being abused and are suffering. She has also written a booklet that is being used in women's shelters across the United States entitled, "Walking on Eggshells: Emotional Support in verse" which was the basis for this book.
